Tree-Man
If this story is true about a man who had a fir tree growing inside his lungs, then besides trying to figure out how this happened and dissecting the tree, they need to plant the damn tree to see what it grows into. Maybe it’ll be some weird mutant, human-fir hybrid. Maybe the tree will grow up and talk. Who the hell knows? Personally, to me it looks like someone stuck a twig of rosemary insides his guts. Maybe one of the surgeons was drunk, or had momentary amnesia (like I seem to get, poor Cy- how he hates when I forget who he is) and stuffed the twig inside the guy like a turkey. If it’s not a sham, than it’s food for poets, a wonderful plot for a novelist, and story line for a comic. Any Kabbalists out there that want to take shot at this symbolism about the tree of life? Gnostics about Pneuma? They claim he must have breathed it in.
PS- I don’t care if this is off topic. We have trees in cities too.
